The Guardian: California: ‘resistance’ state has donated more to Trump than to most Democrats in 2020 race

Residents of California, the self-fashioned “resistance” state that has sued the Trump administration more than 50 times, has donated more money to the Trump 2020 campaign than to most Democratic candidates in the 2020 race.

Donald Trump raised $3.2m in California since the beginning of this year, according to campaign finance data analyzed by CalMatters, a not-for-profit news organization focused on California issues.

Trump beat out everybody in the field except for Senator Kamala Harris, who raised $7.5m, and Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who raised $5.1m. Harris, who is California’s junior senator, has been leading in donations from the state since launching her campaign in January.

Trump bested even the former vice-president Joe Biden, the frontrunner in the Democratic primary, and Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, who have strong support throughout the state.

The Epoch Times: Teacher Praises Western Civilization, Her School Fires Her

California math teacher Karen Siegemund says she was fired for making a speech outside the classroom in defense of Western civilization.

Siegemund, president of the Los Angeles-based American Freedom Alliance and who holds a doctorate in education and American culture, spoke in May at her group’s “Long March Through the Institutions” conference, which “explored the Left’s ongoing multi-decade takeover attempt of numerous public and private institutions to effect a radical transformation of America.”

The phrase, “The long march through the institutions,” refers to revolutionary change effected by incrementalism and was coined by German student leader Rudi Dutschke in the 1960s, though it is widely misattributed to Marxist theorist Antonio Gramsci, according to Marxist academic Joseph A. Buttigieg, the late father of Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg.

During the offending oration, Siegemund said, “Each of us here believes in the unparalleled force for good that is Western civilization; that is our heritage, whether we were born here or not.”

Soon after the address, she was told her teaching contract at Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles, a private K-12 school, wouldn’t be renewed, The College Fix reported.

Washington Examiner: Pete Buttigieg brother-in-law accuses 2020 candidate of lying about his family for political gain

Teach Buttigieg and other democrats to not be lying pieces of shit.

Pete Buttigieg’s brother-in-law is accusing the gay Democratic presidential hopeful of hijacking his family’s history for political advantage by crafting a bogus backstory of poverty, homelessness, and homophobia.

Rhyan Glezman, 34, a pastor in small-town Michigan, said he was inundated by death threats and hate mail when stories surfaced this month claiming he was a bigot who had fallen out with his younger brother Chasten when Chasten came out of the closet.
